Sunny California...or not.

We have had quite the adventures up to this point. (I'll save that story for another post) But we are here and we are having fun! Despite all the rain. Who knew I would leave the mild temperatures in Seattle to spend cold, rainy nights in "sunny California" Oh yeah, and californian's to NOT know how to function in the rain.

Our first stop was to see Donna Downey. I am a big fan! It was so great to meet her in person. I love reading her blog and find her very inspirational. We were practically the only ones at her make and take, so we were able to really talk with her..She was a lot of fun! Can't wait to take her class on Monday.

Here goes nothing

Welcome to my first official post. I have wanted to start a blog for sometime now, but felt the pressure to make it perfect was overwhelming. I am letting go of that pressure and will use this blog to showcase the layouts that I create for my family and friends. I hope to make this as interesting as possible. Eventually I would like to have some followers so if you are reading this, that statement was directed at you. Please be a follower. :)

On another note, I am really looking forward to going to CHA (The Craft and Hobby Association) Trade show in Anaheim, CA in 2 days. I am going with 2 of my best girls and can't even begin to tell you how happy I am to be going. I couldn't think of 2 better women to go with than Carla, and Kim. I have wanted to go to CHA ever since I started working at a scrapbook store almost 10 years ago. It has been a dream of mine, and that dream is finally coming true. I get to see all the new scrapbook lines before they hit the shelves at the local scrapbook stores. There will be lots of pictures to be taken, people to meet, and fun to be had. I'll post some pictures as soon as I figure out how to do that. This is a learning process for me, so please be nice.
